Kasco Marine Dock Mounts
The dock mount is a simple and effective option to mount your Kasco Deicer or AquatiClear® to your dock. This mount allows for either a vertical or several angled deployment positions. DOCK MOUNT ONLY. DE-ICER IS NOT INCLUDED. Universal Dock Mount Kasco’s universal dock mount is made out of stainless steel mounting hardware and requires a corrosion-resistant stainless or galvanized steel pipe (1″ I.D. maximum 8 feet long, not included) making it a great choice for docks, piers, marinas and other waterfront property. A pipe of this kind can commonly be found in the plumbing section of most hardware stores. Using its unique design, you can easily change the de-icer’s angle, depth and position. Will fit units 1 HP or smaller. Using its unique design, you can easily change the de-icer’s angle, depth and position. PLEASE NOTE: you must buy a thick-walled galvanized or stainless steel pipe to complete this dock mount kit (the pipe is not included). The pipe should be 1.5″ I.D., schedule 40, and no longer than 10 feet long. One example would be galvanized steel dock posts (1 11/16” O.D.), commonly available in hardware stores. Control boxes operated as Thermostat, Timer and Photocell options. Benefits Whenever you are dealing with electricity and water, safety is always the first and foremost concern. That is why Kasco’s Fountains, Robust-Aire Aerators, Water Circulators, and Impeller De-Icers and Control Panels are ETL approved to UL and CSA standards for safety in the water. Kasco’s Control Panels come standard with all fountains and are optional with de-icers or circulators. The Kasco Marine Timer and Control Panels are the interface through which you can control your aerators, circulators, fountains and de-icers. They will protect your equipment from power surges and hefty electrical bills! Use the control panels to turn your equipment on and off using the timer function, through perceived light in the photo cell, by temperature or any combination of these features. Replacement zinc anode
Sacrificial zinc anodes are mandatory when using a Kasco motor in salted, brackish or highly conductive water. Sold individually. Technical specifications Kasco recommends replacing zinc anodes annually or sooner if the anode is reduced by more than 50%. Zinc anodes are available for 1/2" and 5/8" motor shafts. For 1/2" and 3/4" HP units, the shaft size is always 1/2". For the 1 HP units, some use 1/2" shafts and some use 5/8" shafts. So you need to measure the diameter of the rod to confirm which anode is needed. Warranty: No warranty is offered on this product as this is a product that is meant to deteriorate to elongate the life of the deicer in harsh conditions. In the diagram below, the anode is part B.
