The fiberglass layer also serves to help prevent punctures from rodents or sharp objects. It performs well up to a maximum pressure of 80 psi, compared to regular ballasted hoses. The Torpedo™ is weighted and metal free; it resists twisting and is designed to be the air supply hose line in your aeration projects.This ballasted air intake pipe sinks from its own weight in water because its density is higher than that of water. This makes for a quick and efficient installation of your aeration system. It is available in ⅜″, ½″, ¾″ and 1” inner hole diameter sizes to suit all needs. Replacement zinc anode

Sacrificial zinc anodes are mandatory when using a Kasco motor in salted, brackish or highly conductive water. Sold individually. Technical specifications Kasco recommends replacing zinc anodes annually or sooner if the anode is reduced by more than 50%. Zinc anodes are available for 1/2" and 5/8" motor shafts. For 1/2" and 3/4" HP units, the shaft size is always 1/2". For the 1 HP units, some use 1/2" shafts and some use 5/8" shafts. So you need to measure the diameter of the rod to confirm which anode is needed. Warranty: No warranty is offered on this product as this is a product that is meant to deteriorate to elongate the life of the deicer in harsh conditions. In the diagram below, the anode is part B. Protect your docks, boats and submerged structures with a Kasco Marine industrial de-icer. Industrial units are built to withstand the demanding environments of industrial or harsh applications. Benefits and Informations Winter ice can damage your dock to the point of complete destruction. The thicker the ice gets, the more it also expands. This can literally destroy your dock. When the water level in a lake changes in the winter, the ice surrounding your posts can tear them off the sea floor.  The ice clinging to the structure shows how securely the expanding ice was attached. They are divided into 2 groups: single piston and double piston compressors. The single piston is ¼HP or ⅓HP, while the double piston is ½ HP or ¾ HP. The air pressure is 25 to 100 psi or 1.72 bar to 3.45 bar. As a general rule of thumb, the more pressure the compressor develops, the less air flow is available. The air flow rate is between 2 and 8 CFM, or 0.06m³-0.23m³ per minute. The common brands are Thomas and Gast, but they can now be found on the market under different names such as: Sweetwater, Brockwood, Matala, Stratus and Tech-Aire reciprocating compressors.
